Subject: MRG Unconventional Terrain Postponed Once Again! :(

·         Greetings Unconventional Terrain Folks

·

·         The Unconventional Terrain Competition    which had been re-scheduled for this Saturday February 18 has unfortunately been postponed once again. We just don’t have the conditions to host it and aren’t confident we will get enough in the impending “storm” to feel comfortable hosting it. We will do our best to pull the off at some point later in the season. Sorry folks!

THINK SNOW!!!!

Eric

Okemo B moguls/ presidents week.

As of this point I have not heard from anyone who was able to register in time for the Okemo mogul event this Saturday.

Please let me know ASAP if you are going, otherwise I will let coach Joey know that he does not have to travel to Okemo

Presidents week camp is Tuesday through Friday next week 9am-3pm. Cost for Diamond Dog members is discounted @ $100 per day. I know that some of you have the following week off, which you can either join my normal mid-week group, or I can schedule another coach. Please let me know if you are interested ASAP so that I can schedule coaches accordingly.

Freestyle team news

This month I am going with the A mogul Team to Sunday River, Bristol NY, Whiteface, then Waterville Valley. So I'll see the rest of you the first weekend of February. Never Fear there's 130+ years of coaching experience on my Staff, including 2 former head coaches.

Next B mogul meet is at Stratton the 21st-22nd. I hate Stratton, but I love the events that they put on. T bar next to the course, and a BBQ at bottom of course are always a good time.

USASA night Jam at Stowe Friday the 13th, yes Friday the 13th. The inaugural night jam held at Lincoln Peak was a great show, and no doubt Stowe will do a great job too.

Saturday the 14th is the Mad River Jr unconventional challenge. This is for those 13 and under as of January 1st 2012. To compete in the Ski The East Freeride Tour, including the castlerock Challenge, you must first qualify from one of the 3 jr events. Only 10 spots will be handed out at each jr event. This is open to any Devo Team member.

Every Comp I think we'll go to this year is on a list on the cork board, so check it out, and drill the coach's with any questions you have about competitions.

Flyin' Ryan event # 2 is being held this Saturday at 3:15 in the Wunderbar. If you missed the video and presentation in December then I suggest you try to make it to this one.

Snow piles in the terrain Park are massive!!! Top half of park should be done by next week. Amazingly I've seen worse winters than this, where the park wasn't built until the last week of January, so we're doing OK.

Train Hard!
