Freestyle Team News : 12/15

What a weekend! Snow graced Sugarbush and let us open 100% if the terrain on Lincoln Peak. Our team was able to train on bumps, jumps, cliffs, and even in the trees!

Many team members learned new tricks on our team private jump site, including this Flat 3 Japan by Cooper.

Elsewhere, coaches and team members shredded soft bumps from Castlerock to Steins. Coach Joey even scored some fresh snow.

Next week will be our first two events for the competition team; USSA B moguls at Killington and a USASA rail jam in Stowe. Best of luck to our athletes who will be competing. More information can be found on the teams calendar

For those not competing, coaches will be meeting with team members at the yurt located at Mt Ellen for the opening weekend of the mountain. We look forward to exploring the terrain offered by the highest lift access terrain in Vermont and hitting the new terrain park build and designed by the Sugarbush park staff.

Shred hard my friends!!

Competition teams begin next Saturday December 8th.
Development teams begin Saturday December 15th.
We have the Mushroom in the Valley house lodge as our clubhouse until mt Ellen opens on the 21st.

We may go to the SHaRC to use the trampoline for a portion of practice during the first few weekends, so please have kids wear a pair of gym shorts under their snow pants, and have a pair of sneakers or boots in their backpacks to walk to the gym in.
Elizabeth Orgel has a pair of 158 Hart F17 mogul skis for sale. They have been barely used. her email is
Please call me anytime with questions you may have. I will have Mondays off this winter, but am available to take any emergency calls.
